Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS), in partnership with the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM), will organise Brainstorming Session 2.0 at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi on 14 November 2025. Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Secretary (Defence Production) Sanjeev Kumar will address the event held under the theme ‘Leveraging Defence Industry Ecosystem for Future Warfare’.

The day-long session will include high-level discussions chaired by senior officials from the Ministry of Defence, along with participation from HQ IDS, Service Headquarters, the Department of Defence Production, DRDO, academia and leading manufacturing industries.

Deliberations will centre on key domains critical to future warfare, including ammunition and explosives, autonomous systems and research in emerging technologies. By bringing together key stakeholders across India’s defence and national security framework, the event aims to identify challenges, address capability gaps and outline actionable strategies.

The outcomes of the session are expected to support Aatmanirbhar Bharat, strengthen operational readiness and boost India’s leadership in advanced warfare technologies.
