PTC Wins Rs 1 Billion Order from BrahMos Aerospace
PTC Industries Limited, a leading manufacturer of high-performance materials and engineered components for critical aerospace and defence applications, has announced the receipt of a significant order worth over Rs 1 billion from BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited, the producer of the world’s fastest supersonic cruise missile.
PTC’s collaboration with BrahMos began in 2019, with the company supplying specialised titanium components and raw materials such as titanium mill forms. This latest order marks an important milestone in their growing partnership and highlights both organisations’ shared commitment to indigenisation and technological self-reliance under the Government of India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
Over the years, PTC has established itself as a trusted supplier of mission-critical components to leading defence organisations including Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and BrahMos. Its consistent delivery of high-quality solutions has significantly contributed to India’s drive for self-reliance in aerospace and defence manufacturing.
Beyond domestic operations, PTC exports titanium and superalloy castings to several leading global aerospace and defence original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), including Safran, Dassault Aviation, BAE Systems, and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
Commenting on the development, Sachin Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of PTC Industries, said:
“We are honoured to announce this significant order from BrahMos Aerospace. It is a strong endorsement of our technological and manufacturing capabilities, as well as our long-standing commitment to India’s strategic sectors. This development not only strengthens our engagement with one of the country’s most important defence programmes but also reinforces our mission to build advanced materials and critical component manufacturing capabilities in India for the world.”
