Sunita Tools Wins Rs Two Billion Defence Export Order

Sunita Tools Ltd has received a major Letter of Intent for supplying 100 thousands empty 155mm M107 artillery shells to a NATO country, with batch deliveries of ten thousand units starting Q3 2026. The Ministry of Defence of that country will issue the End-User Certificate.

This follows a previous LOI announced in March and positions the firm’s artillery business with a steady supply outlook through 2028. Sunita Tools is finalising its infrastructure and team setup to meet the large-scale production timeline as outlined.

With over 36 years in engineering and mould base manufacturing, the company has diversified into aerospace and now defence sectors. Its Vasai-based facility supports operations with access to logistics and skilled manpower. The company delivers customised high-precision components across industries including automotive, electronics, and pharmaceuticals.

Classified as a major project valued between Rs Two billion and Rs Three billion, this order marks a milestone in the firm’s growth. Management confirmed preparations are underway to ensure timely execution and high-quality standards.
