Bengaluru Smart City anticipated being finished in three weeks
A study from BSCPL claims that the Commercial Street event last year, the roads were damaged by heavy rain. It began repairing drains and roads in nearby streets while taking safety precautions to prevent flooding. The tender for the project was called in 2019 but it was delayed for a year since many contractors were unsure about the execution because this was a new project.
The construction will be finished, having started in 2020. Work on Avenue Road was the most challenging because of the old buildings and heavy traffic density. The pipes are four metres underneath and are very old. Everything is open and transparent, and if there is ever any damage to the roads or other amenities, the responsible contractor has three years to fix it.
