Ministry Showcases AI Solutions At India AI Impact Expo 2026
The demonstration will present SabhaSaar, an AI solution for recording, transcribing and summarising Gram Sabha and official meetings into structured, accurate and actionable minutes. It will also feature PRAMAN, Panchayati Raj Asset Monitoring and Notification, an image analytics based system for automated validation of uploaded asset photographs that conducts quality assessment, authenticity checks and duplication detection. In addition, eGramSaathi, an AI chatbot, will be showcased to assist Panchayat officials and citizens with information, guidance and responses related to governance processes and services.
The booth has been conceptualised as an experiential space that facilitates immersive and interactive engagement formats to demonstrate how AI simplifies complex administrative processes. Visitors will be offered guided walkthroughs and live working demonstrations of the platforms, and there will be a role based interactive simulation called Be the Sarpanch that demonstrates AI enabled decision documentation through a traditional nukkad natak method. The design intends to make technical concepts accessible and to illustrate practical workflows for local officials.
Alongside demonstrations, the MPR expects to contribute to policy discourse on the responsible and impactful use of AI in public systems and to highlight scalable digital innovations for local governments. The exhibits are intended to reaffirm commitment to citizen centric, policy led adoption of emerging technologies and to promote solutions that foster transparency, efficiency and inclusion in rural administration. Visitors will be invited to engage with teams at the booth and to evaluate suitability of the platforms for adoption at the Panchayat level.
