Bartronics Signs Shareholders Agreement With AYOU For AI Warehousing

Bartronics India Limited (BIL) has executed a definitive shareholders agreement with Shree NagaNarasimha Private Limited, which operates under the AYOU brand, to roll out AI-led warehousing, the company announced on 17th February, 2026. The transaction is expected to complete over the coming weeks subject to transfer of funds and customary closing formalities and forms part of Bartronics' Project AVIO Agritech expansion.

BIL said the move builds on an established rural footprint across India’s major agricultural corridors, including its network in the potato belt of Uttar Pradesh and the onion belt of Maharashtra, along with sourcing linkages across other key fruits and vegetables clusters. By combining this physical reach with structured aggregation and technology integration under AYOU, the company aims to create a scalable, efficient and transparent farm-to-market ecosystem that supports farmers and buyer partners.

Following completion, Bartronics plans to convert select warehouses within its network into AI-enabled smart aggregation and processing hubs operating under AYOU. These facilities will integrate computer vision based grading, digital quality benchmarking, predictive inventory analytics and batch-level traceability systems to improve supply precision across potatoes, onions and a wider basket of fruits and vegetables. The initiative is intended to reduce wastage, improve quality consistency, strengthen demand forecasting and provide real-time visibility across procurement and dispatch flows.

AYOU currently supplies quick commerce and modern trade players including Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, BigBasket and Blinkit as well as retail brands such as Trent, and embedding AI at the warehouse layer is expected to strengthen service reliability and traceability for these partners while improving price realisation and transparency for farmers across Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and other sourcing geographies. The managing director, Vidyasagar Reddy, said the rollout will transform the company's physical reach into a technology-led, efficient and traceable supply chain and enable data-driven planning and scalable expansion.
