The Chhattisgarh Cabinet has cleared the State Logistics Policy 2025, a framework designed to turn the centrally located state into a major logistics and export hub while aligning with India’s National Logistics Policy.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said the policy centres on reducing logistics costs, improving industrial competitiveness and lifting export capacity. Key measures include building dry ports and inland container depots to help micro, small and medium enterprises connect quickly with domestic and overseas markets.
Investment incentives and land facilitation are expected to attract national and international logistics companies, e commerce players and warehouse operators. The plan also calls for expanded cold storage and warehouse capacity to cut post harvest losses, benefitting agricultural and forest based producers in regions such as Bastar and Surguja.
