Oman Air Cargo will add network capacity to destinations including India, the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia over the coming days, the carrier said. It has suspended services to and from Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar and Dubai because of ongoing regional airspace closures. The carrier said extra belly hold capacity will be introduced through new flights to mitigate disruption. The carrier said planners were reallocating aircraft and utilising available freight capacity to maintain freight flows while adjustments were made.

The company warned that flights across the rest of its network may be delayed owing to longer flight paths and said operational adjustments were under way to preserve schedules. It said affected cargo would be rescheduled once there was greater clarity on airspace restrictions. The carrier said it was contacting customers to confirm the status of their consignments. Priority was being given to time sensitive consignments and the carrier was coordinating alternative routings with customers and ground handlers.

The safety of staff remained the company priority and it said it was coordinating with relevant authorities and airport partners to ensure necessary precautions. Operational teams were managing logistics to reroute shipments and to make best use of additional belly hold capacity. The carrier emphasised efforts to communicate regular updates to customers and partners. Operational centres were monitoring flight profiles and adjusting cargo manifests to accommodate changes in routing and transit times.

DP World said that all terminals at Dubai flagship port remained fully operational while the authority maintained enhanced security measures. The logistics operator added that port management continued to monitor the situation to limit disruption to maritime trade. Industry observers said the combined actions aim to protect supply chains while airspace constraints persist. Market participants said global logistics networks were being tested but remained resilient as companies reviewed contingency plans and capacity allocations.
