TIL Limited a key player in India’s material handling and infrastructure equipment sector, has secured contracts worth over Rs 2 billion from Container Corporation of India Limited and the Indian Armed Forces, reinforcing its role in commercial logistics and defence.
The Company received an order valued at Rs 667.5 million from CONCOR for the design, manufacture, supply and commissioning of 25 loaded reach stackers. Scheduled for delivery within 330 days, the equipment will support intermodal logistics across India’s expanding container freight network, highlighting TIL’s longstanding expertise in high-reliability handling solutions.
Simultaneously, TIL has been awarded major defence contracts from the Indian Army and Indian Air Force for approximately 170 specialised cranes designed for mission-critical applications. Valued at around Rs 1100 million, these machines are engineered to operate in extreme terrains and demanding environments, underscoring the advanced capabilities of the newly established TIL Defence SBU.
Mr Alok Kumar Tripathi, President, TIL Limited, said the new orders reflect the Company’s dual strength in supporting both infrastructure expansion and defence requirements through integrated engineering capabilities.
The specialised defence cranes will add to TIL’s fleet of more than 3,000 machines deployed nationwide, supported by a robust aftermarket service network serving over 200 customers. All equipment will be manufactured at TIL’s facilities in Eastern India, contributing to skilled employment and supporting Atmanirbhar Bharat through indigenous production of high-specification military and logistics systems.
These wins provide strong execution visibility for the Company, which reported Rs 3431 million in FY25 revenue, and align with the strategic scale-up of its dedicated defence vertical under Gainwell Group ownership since January 2024.
