TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) has conducted the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for its Grade A, built-to-suit industrial and logistics park in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The facility is expected to commence operations by August 2026.

Developed with an investment of Rs 2.5 billion, the 20-acre logistics park is aimed at addressing the growing requirement for high-quality warehousing and industrial infrastructure in central India. The project is expected to generate employment for over 1,000 people in and around Indore, supporting local economic development.

Located in the Pithampur Sector 7 industrial belt, the park is positioned at a strategic junction of key industrial and consumption corridors, enabling efficient access to western, northern and southern India. Pithampur is among the country’s most established industrial clusters and contributes significantly to the region’s manufacturing output, making it a preferred destination for large-scale industrial investments.

The facility is being developed on land allotted by the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation, which is expected to simplify statutory approvals for customers while ensuring long-term operational continuity and reduced legal and operational risks.

Strategically located around one kilometre from National Highway 47 on the Indore–Ahmedabad corridor, the park also falls within a 25-kilometre radius of Indore airport, the city centre and the railway station, offering strong multimodal connectivity. The development is designed to meet global standards for heavy industrial usage, featuring FM2 flooring, a 13.5-metre-wide apron for smooth truck movement, wide internal roads, comprehensive fire safety systems and a dedicated 1,000 KVA power infrastructure.

Commenting on the development, Dr Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP, said the company aims to bridge the gap in the availability of Grade A industrial and logistics parks in Indore. He added that rising industrial activity and urban consumption are driving demand from sectors such as e-commerce, automobiles, textiles, FMCG/FMCD and 3PL, with the facility also serving neighbouring states including Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Madhya Pradesh has been witnessing accelerated industrial momentum, supported by sustained government investment and infrastructure development. Initiatives such as the PM MITRA Textile Park, the Indore–Pithampur Economic Corridor and planned railway network expansion are expected to further strengthen the state’s position as a manufacturing and multimodal logistics hub over the next three to four years.
