TVS ILP Invests Rs 2.5 Billion in New Vizag Logistics Park

TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) has invested approximately Rs 2.5 billion to develop a Grade-A industrial and logistics park spread across 17 acres in Visakhapatnam, marking a major step in the company’s expansion of its pan-India network of world-class logistics facilities.

A part of the TVS Mobility Group, TVS ILP is a joint venture between TVS Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) and Ravikumar Swaminathan & Family.

Located strategically 21 km from Vizag Airport, 28 km from Vizag Railway Station, and 32 km from Vizag Port, the park offers direct access to the Chennai–Kolkata Highway, ensuring strong multimodal connectivity. The land for the project was allocated by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (APIIC), which also facilitated acquisition and expedited approvals.

The development is being executed in multiple phases, with approximately 400,000 sq. ft. of ready-to-move space already available. Once fully operational, the built-to-suit (BTS) facility is expected to generate over 1,000 jobs, according to the company.

Aditi Kumar, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP, said, “Visakhapatnam’s strategic location along the Bay of Bengal makes it a natural hub for warehousing and logistics. With one of India’s busiest ports, it acts as a gateway for trade with Southeast Asia and beyond. Our new park leverages this connectivity and is designed to serve high-growth sectors such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, 3PLs, automobiles, electronics, and seafood processing.”

Visakhapatnam is currently undergoing major infrastructure upgrades, including the upcoming Bogapuram International Airport and enhanced connectivity along the Chennai–Kolkata corridor, further strengthening its position as a key industrial and logistics hub on India’s eastern coast.

The launch of the new logistics park underscores TVS ILP’s commitment to supporting India’s industrial and supply chain ecosystem, providing sustainable, efficient, and scalable infrastructure solutions tailored to the country’s growing manufacturing and export needs.
