Antony Waste Group to manage waste in Mumbai

A solid waste management company, Antony Debris Handling Cell, has received a Rs 10.24 billion order from AG Enviro Infra Projects for the collection, transportation, processing, and disposal of building and demolition waste in Mumbai. The contract has a 21-year term.

CMD of Antony Waste Handling Cell Jose Jacob remarked, “The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation sub-segment of solid waste management provides growth opportunities given the number of infrastructure development projects underway. We will use the sustainable material recovery approach, which identifies specific C&D materials as commodities that can be re-used in new construction projects.”
