Haryana nod to water supply projects
The designated districts for these projects include Ambala, Hisar, Kurukshetra, Jind, Panchkula, Rohtak, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Charkhi Dadri, Yamunanagar, Karnal, Bhiwani, Mahendragarh, Kaithal, and Palwal. Implementation of these initiatives will be overseen by the Public Health Engineering Department as part of the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0 mission.
In addition to the approved projects, Chief Minister Khattar disclosed plans for another 18 water supply projects valued at over Rs 425 crore, which are poised to receive the green light, further advancing comprehensive development initiatives in the public health engineering sector across the state.
Furthermore, administrative approval has been granted for the acquisition of land through e-Bhoomi to facilitate the construction of canal-based water works in Rania town, situated in Sirsa. The Haryana government has allocated Rs 14.15 crore for land procurement in this regard.
