Rajasthan PHED Invites Bids for Kaliteer Water Supply Project

The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) of Rajasthan has issued a tender for the Kaliteer Water Supply Project, which will be executed under the hybrid annuity model (HAM) in the Dholpur district. This project forms part of the central government's Jal Jeevan Mission initiative, aiming to enhance rural water supply infrastructure.

The project scope involves the construction of essential water infrastructure, including water treatment plants (WTPs), clear water reservoirs (CWRs), and clear water pumping houses (CWPHs) near the WTPs. It also includes the development of transmission pipelines from WTPs to various Intermediate Pumping Stations (IPSs), installation of rising mains leading to multiple Elevated Service Reservoirs (ESRs), and the construction of these ESRs. Furthermore, a comprehensive water distribution system will be set up within the targeted villages, along with the provision of functional household tap connections (FHTCs) and associated works.

Geographically, the project covers the Dholpur, Bari, Baseri, Sarmathpura, and Saipau blocks of Dholpur district, as well as the Bayana block in the neighboring Bharatpur district. The construction is scheduled to be completed within a 36-month period. Additionally, the project includes a 10-year operation and maintenance (O&M) phase, which features a one-year defect liability period to ensure continued performance and service quality.

The total estimated project cost is pegged at Rs 6.06 billion. Interested parties must submit their bids by the deadline of 05 May 2025.
