SPML Infra Limited, a leading Indian water infrastructure development company, has secured a Rs 10.7 billion project from Indore Municipal Corporation under the AMRUT 2.0 programme. The project, inclusive of GST, aims to significantly strengthen Indore’s water supply system and includes a 10-year operation and maintenance contract.

The scheme, designed to serve over 2 million residents, will provide reliable access to safe drinking water. Its scope covers construction of a 1,650 MLD intake system with a raw water pump house, a 400 MLD water treatment plant with advanced technology, and the development of booster pumping stations, transmission mains and a 22 km pipeline network ranging from 1,200 mm to 2,337 mm in diameter. A 132/33 kv substation will also be built to power the operations.

The EPC portion is scheduled for completion within 30 months, including monsoon delays. The integrated project demonstrates SPML Infra’s capacity to deliver technologically advanced, large-scale water supply systems while ensuring sustainability through long-term O&M commitments.
