SPML Infra has announced that it has secured a Rs 1.44 billion order in a joint venture with JWIL Infra, with SPML holding a 51 per cent stake, from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

Awarded under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the project aims to strengthen water supply infrastructure across the region, according to a company filing. The scope includes comprehensive construction works alongside ten years of operations and maintenance (O&M).

Once completed, the project will provide safe and reliable drinking water to over 1.5 million residents in the Dholpur and Saipau blocks. The contract involves construction of an intake well, raw water reservoirs of 10 million and 12 million cubic metres on the Chambal River, laying 712 km of pipelines ranging from 100 mm to 2,000 mm in diameter, building 21 elevated service reservoirs, and establishing raw water pumping stations.

In financials, SPML Infra reported a consolidated net profit decline of 6.3 per cent to Rs 12.12 crore, while net sales fell 24.6 per cent to Rs 155.91 crore in Q1 FY26 compared with Q1 FY25. The company is engaged in infrastructure development.

On the BSE, SPML Infra’s stock rose 0.56 per cent to Rs 293.15.
