Ashoka Buildcon Limited has submitted a bid to North Frontier Railway for the project, electrification of railway lines of the sections Rangiya to Murkongselek and emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1) for the railway project, quoted a bid value of Rs 692.50 crore.
These include branch lines of Rangapara North to Dekargaon, Balipara to Bhalukpong, Harmuty to Naharlagun, Sripani to Dhamalgaon, Furkating Junction to Mariani Junction and Tinsukia to Dangri Section, including branch line of Makum Junction to Tirap, Northeast Frontier Railway route kilometre or tonne kilometre of 733.35 or 947.59, respectively on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode in Assam. The shares of Ashoka Buildcon Limited traded in the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) at Rs. 94.25 per unit, compared to the previous close of Rs 96.30 per unit. The company's total number of shares traded during the day was 81,809 in over 1,439 trades. The stock witnessed an intraday high of Rs 96.10 per unit and an intraday low of 93.55 per unit.
