The Supreme Court appointed board of Unitech group has appointed Delhi-based consultancy firm Rudrabhishek Enterprises Ltd (REPL) Project Management Consultants (PMC) for completing the assignments and guaranteeing timely delivery of houses to the homebuyers.

The total number of houses pending possession offered in these projects is 3280, and the accounted cost of achievement will be around Rs 1078 crore. CMD of REPL, Pradeep Misra, told the media that they strive to quickly make an accurate assessment of current situations on these projects and take forward the completion works.

In January 2020, the Supreme Court had permitted the nomination of seven directors on the company board after the government acquired the troubled developer. The home-buyers of Unitech have been meeting difficulties in different areas, as the builder could not finish the projects timely owing to financial concerns and other execution issues.

REPL has been given the work of projects in Gurgaon (Nirvana Country –II & Uniworld Resorts of UNITECH; and eight other projects in JV of UNITECH).

There are parts of the projects which are under construction, or the works are yet to commence. Their expertise in rendering end-to-end consultancy in the real estate state gives them an edge to see the projects in totality and determine the exact gaps. They have an in-house team of professional technical experts and project managers.

On the projects, REPL will conduct scrutiny, vetting and validation of DPRs for the balance or new works. It will additionally conduct vetting of several tender documents, quality control, auditing of bills, work reviews and other essential activities needed for project completion. The technical and financial auditing of the projects will be accomplished by REPL under the framework rendered by the recently constituted Board of Unitech.
