According to a recent statement by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the government is currently focusing on four pillars of the Indian economy – infrastructure, investment, innovation and inclusiveness — to make India a developed nation by 2047. While innovation and inclusivity drive the development of new technologies and industries, infrastructure and investment provide the necessary support systems. Hence, incentivising these four factors is crucial for national economic growth.
