Amaravati land prices surge after four-year stagnation

01 Dec 2023

After a period of over four years marked by stagnation, land prices in the capital city of Amaravati have begun to rise. While the increase is modest in some areas, it has surged by approximately 50% in regions earmarked for key government establishments as per the master plan.

Market dynamics have been influenced by recent developments in Telangana, acting as a catalyst for the upward trend in Amaravati's property prices, as reported by real estate experts.

The real estate market in the capital had reached a seemingly bottomed-out state, remaining stagnant for over four years. Many investors who had initially purchased land in Amaravati with hopes of it becoming a world-class city faced disappointment as their investments struggled. However, the tide is now turning, and property prices are gradually on the rise in the capital region.
