Ambuja Cement Foundation to train over 88,000 youth

Ambuja Cement Foundation (ACF) has been offering skill training to approximately 88,000 youngsters from rural and semi-urban regions throughout 10 States of India, with a placement record of 76 per cent, with the goal of assisting India's young population in attaining job-relevant skills and livelihoods (Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Institutes).

SEDI is a one-of-a-kind skilling project that focuses on generating sustainable livelihoods for rural youth by preparing them for industry via hands-on vocational training. The programme also promotes entrepreneurship among its pupils and encourages them to create their own businesses in order to improve their financial situation. SEDI offers 43 accredited courses in eight categories, including IT/ITES, electronics, health, construction, beauty and wellness, hospitality and tourism, car, capital goods, retail, and telecom.
