Wheels India, a maker of vehicle wheels, anticipates demand for cast aluminium wheels to increase this year, according to the reports. Last year, the company's exports surpassed the milestone of Rs 10 billion. The groundwork has been laid for the business's exports market and customers to develop in the next years, said company Chairman S Ram during the 63rd annual general body meeting today.
He has stated that Wheels India was able to enhance its manufacturing of forged aluminium wheels for sale in Europe and the United States. Last year was the first full year of production of cast aluminium wheels from the new Thervoy Kandigai facility (near Chennai). The wheels are sold to the largest aftermarket distributor of cast aluminium wheels in the world.
