Doosan Bobcat to open two new US parts distribution centres

01 Mar 2022

Doosan Bobcat has announced its plans to open two new US parts distribution centres in Atlanta and Reno, Nevada.

These facilities will almost double the existing warehouse capacity of the company by adding 4,45,000 sq ft over the already existing 3,58,000 sq ft primary parts distribution centre in Chicago.

The company said by expanding customer service teams and decentralising distribution, customers across US and Canada can expect quicker order-to-delivery times and enhanced service for aftermarket parts and attachments.

The regional distribution centres will offer benefits, including same-day order processing and extended order hours, expanded dealer support programs and customer service hours, faster delivery and additional shipping carrier options.

These centres are part of the company's overall plans to cater to the growing capacity needs and the demand for Bobcat equipment in the market.

President of Doosan Bobcat North America, Mike Ballweber, told the media that this investment demonstrates its commitment to the dealers and customers and its leadership in the industry.

This expansion will ensure faster response and delivery times to all customers in North America by bringing parts closer to end-users and a business place.

Ballweber said with the dealer's support and the improved parts availability it would enable faster service for valued customers with continued growth and business demands.

The company expects fully operational facilities by the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2022, which will be managed by APL Logistics.
