Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated and laid the groundwork for projects worth Rs 20 million in Gurugram.
The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has nine road projects worth Rs 978.1 million. He also laid the groundwork for the construction of a 100 MLD unit number 4 water treatment plant at Chandu Budhera, which will cost Rs 702 million.
Redevelopment of Atul Kataria Chowk, including 4-lane flyovers to relieve traffic congestion for commuters travelling between Kapashera Chowk and Mahavir Chowk, and a 642.30-metre 4-lane bi-directional underpass constructed from Sheetla Mata Mandir to Maharana Pratap Chowk, as well as a service road, are among the projects that will be dedicated to the public. Commuters travelling through the city's central intersection will benefit from this junction.
The Public Works Department completed the project at a cost of Rs 474 million(B&R).
Additionally, eight such unique road repair projects worth Rs. 5011. Million will be officially opened.
Future residents of sectors 58–115 would benefit from the water treatment facility at Chandu Budhera. The GMDA currently receives 300 MLD of water from this plant.
