JSW Steel announced the appointment of Robert Simon as the Chief Executive Officer of JSW, USA. It was stated in a company release that in his capacity, he would oversee the overall business operations in the USA, including slab, coil, pipe, and plate production, as well as sales at Baytown and Mingo Junction.
According to the statement, prior to joining JSW USA, Simon had consulted with various companies, including OmniTrax in Denver, Colorado. He had also served as the chairman of the Steel Manufacturers Association in the USA.
