Larsen & Toubro's Buildings & Factories (B&F) Business recently announced the acquisition of orders in both India and Oman. The Residential Business under B&F has successfully secured a notable repeat order from the Government Planning & Development Authority in Maharashtra. The order pertains to the construction of EWS Housing, 14 towers, and associated infrastructure works in Navi Mumbai.
The assigned tasks encompass the design and construction of civil structures, inclusive of finishes, MEP, and related external development works. The project is scheduled to be executed over a period of 42 months.
Moreover, the business, facilitated by the L&T Oman entity, has been granted a contract for a Mixed-Use Development project in Muscat by a well-regarded private client. The contract involves the construction of a 3-star hotel comprising 80 hotel rooms, 101 serviced apartments, and a 23-key residential apartment & office block with a common basement. Additionally, the project includes associated service buildings, external works, services, as well as hard and soft landscaping.
