Marriott International has entered an agreement with Prestige Group and DB Realty to build The St. Regis Aerocity and New Delhi Marriott Marquis hotels, the firm told the media.
Both the hotels are likely to open in 2025. Irfan Razack, chairman and managing director, Prestige Group, told the media that they have inked a contract with Marriott International to improve a St. Regis and India’s first Marriott Marquis and Convention Centre at Aerocity, New Delhi. The deal is likely to add 779 rooms to the Marriott International portfolio. New Delhi Marriott Marquis is likely to feature 590 rooms while The St. Regis Aerocity in New Delhi is likely to feature 189 rooms and suites. Rajeev Menon- president, of Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China), Marriott International, told the media that it allows them to render more choices and experiences in significant markets to serve the expanding and discerning customer base.
