Modi inaugurates 15 airport projects worth Rs 10k cr

On March 10, PM Modi inaugurated 15 airport projects worth Rs 10,000 crore. This was the single biggest infra addition that saw a mix of new airports, expanded terminals, laying of foundation stones for upcoming airports, and other related facilities.

Among the biggest projects inaugurated were Delhi airport?s expanded T1 and new terminals at Lucknow and Pune airports.

New terminal buildings were also inaugurated at Kolhapur, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot, Moradabad, Shravasti, and Adampur airports. Modi also laid foundation stones for new terminal buildings at Kadapa, Hubballi, and Belagavi.

The Airports Authority of India undertook the development of the three terminal buildings at a total cost of Rs 908 crore.
