NCL consortium secures LoA for Rs 1,863 cr from AP Housing Corp

A consortium of NCL Industries and NCL Buildtek has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) of bids aggregating to Rs 1,863.19 crore from Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporation Ltd (APSHCL).

The company told the media that as part of its implementation of the Navaratnalu-Pedal Andariki Illu Scheme, the supply order of pre-painted Galvanised Iron (GI) steel window frames with glazed shutters, and GI powder-coated door frames to APSHCL.

The company further added that the bids selection was made by a process of closed bidding followed by a reverse auction amongst the bidders shortlisted.

An order for over 8.56 lakh units of window frames with shutters is priced at Rs 1,402.71 crore and includes supplies to East and West Godavari, Krishna, YSR Kadapa, Ananthapuram, and Guntur districts. Another order pertains to 7.72 lakh door frames worth Rs 460.48 crore that will be supplied to East and West Godavari, Krishna, Ananthapuram, and Chittoor districts.

NCL Industries Managing Director K.Ravi said that this project has aimed to keep the price affordable and provide a quality product.
