RailTel Partners with South African Firms for Tech Promotion

RailTel Corporation of India Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with two South African companies to promote Indian technology innovation and products. The agreement aims to leverage RailTel's expertise in providing telecom infrastructure and digital services to enhance technology solutions in South Africa.

The partnership seeks to explore opportunities for collaboration in areas such as telecommunications, digital services, cybersecurity, and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. RailTel, a Miniratna public sector undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Railways, has been actively involved in deploying digital infrastructure across India, including in rural and remote areas.
