This might be a result of ballooning land prices, growing property costs, and upcoming assembly elections, according to officials and those connected to the real estate industry.
Interestingly, despite a decrease in transaction volume, the state government has generated more cash from property registrations than in the prior year.
According to a representative, the rise in land market values led to an increase in registration revenue. He claimed that there has been a decline in revenue since January of this year.
