Union Minister Nitin Gadkari conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction at the Faridabad Bypass and DND Sohna Highway sites, both situated on National Highway-148. These projects, part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana and executed under the hybrid annuity mode, cover a stretch of 33 km. The total cost of the development is estimated at Rs 35.65 billion, as stated in an official release. The initiative, seamlessly connecting various major highways such as the Direct Noida Delhi flyways, Delhi-Meerut, Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP), NH-2 (Delhi-Agra), Delhi Mumbai Expressway, and Jewar airport connectivity highway, comprises a six-lane access-controlled highway with three-lane service roads on both sides in the brownfield segment. Additionally, the urban project integrates eight elevated sections totalling 12.034 km and features 10 flyovers.

To address noise pollution, a noise barrier will be implemented along the elevated sections, as mentioned in the official statement.
