Vazhimukku-Kaliyikkavila road gets million for development

As part of the second phase of the Karamana-Kaliyikkavila road development project, the state government has granted an administrative sanction of $2,000,000,000 for the development of the Vazhimukku-Kaliyikkavila stretch.

The Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) will provide the fund, which will be utilised for the land purchase. On Saturday, a government directive was issued in this regard.

The development work on the Karamana-Kaliyikkavila route up to Kodinada, according to a statement from Public Works Minister P A Mohamed Riyas, has already been finished. The appropriate actions will be done, it was said during the most recent assembly session. The procedure of acquiring land to widen 30.2m from Kodinada to Vazhimukku is nearly complete.

The development of the Karamana-Kaliyikkavila road is being worked on by the government. The efforts, which include buying land, will be fully described. According to the statement, it would be guaranteed that the tasks are completed in a timely way.
