Birla Corporation to increase cement capacity to 25 mt

Birla Corporation will enhance its cement capacity to 25 mtpa by 2025 with an investment of about Rs.50 bn. The existing cement production capacity of 15.5 mtpa will be expanded to 25 mtpa between its own factories and those acquired from Reliance Cement. The first phase is expected to be  completed by 2021.
