New design for Komatsu’s PC2000-11 excavator

Komatsu’s new PC2000-11 excavator is designed to load 70-200-tonne rigid-frame dump trucks faster than its predecessor, boosting productivity up to 12 per cent. To increase performance, the company has provided the new hydraulic excavator a 9-per-cent increase in power over the PC2000-8, for a total of 1,046 net hp. Further, it has also added a new engine-pump control.
