Builders told to meet basic needs of buyers' requirements

MLA of Mangalore South JR Lobo has said that builders in the city should keep the basic requirements of buyers in mind while planning and building the projects. He was inaugurating a two-day real estate exhibition, ‘Mangalore Realty Buildcon Expo 2013’ on May 25.

If the builders fail to comply with the consumers' requirements, such builders will lose buyers' confidence, he added. he gave an example of a project where the builder failed to provide drainage facility. Lobo said it created problem not only to the residents of that apartment block but also to the people in the surrounding region.

Pushparaj Jain, president of the Mangalore centre of CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India), spoke on the occasion. Manipal Ace Event Management Company organised the two-day real estate show.
