Metro Maker

Hyderabad Metro has become the second largest metro network in India! With KVB Reddy, Managing Director & CEO, L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail, leading the project, another 11 km stretch of the Green Line corridor was launched recently. The stretch – from Jubliee Bus Station (JBS) to Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) – will connect the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. What’s more, with the opening of the Green line, the travel time is now reduced to 16 minutes from one end to the other, as compared to the earlier 45 minutes via road. L&T has reportedly made use of cutting-edge technologies for the construction of the project.

Notably, Hyderabad Metro Rail, along with now becoming the second largest operational metro network in the country covering 69.2 km,
is also the world's largest public-private partnership project.

For Reddy, the project is an engineering marvel. Certainly!
