Hitachi is setting up two joint ventures with BGR Energy Systems. Hitachi and BGR Energy are to establish BGR turbines at a capitalisation of $33.2 mn, Hitachi will provide supercritical thermal power generation technology for power plants with out put capacities of 660 MW to 1 GW. The joint ventures are slated to begin production in 2012.
