UPPCL to install smart meters drive in 47 towns

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation will be launching a statewide drive to replace existing energy meters with smart ones in 47 towns covered under the Revised Accelerated Power Development and Reform Programme as well as in the rural areas of Varanasi.
