Bihar to get 559 MW electricity as NPGC installs final unit

Bihar will get 559 MW of additional electricity as Nabinagar Power Generating Company (NPGC) installed the third and final unit with a capacity of 660 MW at Nabinagar, Aurangabad district. The project to take power share of Bihar from the NTPC power plants from the present allocation of 5,362 MW to 5,921 MW. Bihar shall get a share of 84.8 per cent or 559 MW of electricity which will be generated from the power plant. The remaining share will be allocated to Jharkhand, Sikkim, and Uttar Pradesh from this plant.
