The Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) department has received over Rs 10.9 bn from the Telangana government in the Budget for the financial year 2022-23. Under scheme expenditure, the government has shown Rs 67 bn. The government has allocated Rs 35 bn for the Smart City project and Rs 13 bn for the AMRUT 2.0 scheme, among other schemes.
