Agence Francaise de Developpement (AFD) has, at the first apex conference for Smart City CEOs, launched their programme to fund Smart City projects through a challenging process. AFD has made available Ç100 mn to finance 30-80 selected projects, and Ç6 mn will be available for technical support. The objective is to promote sustainability, innovation and participatory approaches in smart cities.
