Tamil Nadu speeds up smart city projects

The Tamil Nadu Government is expected to roll out smart city projects worth Rs 65 bn across all the 12 corporations in order to speed up its project work. Projects worth Rs 450 mn are reportedly at the DPR stage, while Coimbatore and Maduarai has yet to execute projects worth Rs 5.5 bn and Rs 5.9 bn, respectively.
