Indore India's cleanest city sixth time in a row

Indore has been named India's cleanest city for the sixth time in a row, with Surat and Navi Mumbai coming in second and third place, respectively, in the Central government's annual cleanliness survey, which also named Madhya Pradesh the best-performing state. In the category of best-performing states, Madhya Pradesh is followed by Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra, respectively, according to the recently announced 'Swachh Survekshan Awards 2022'. Chhattisgarh was ranked first last year. Indore, Surat, Navi Mumbai, GVM Visakhapatnam, Vijaywada, Bhopal, Tirupati, Mysore, New Delhi and Ambikapur are the top ten cities.
