Following complaints from traders and locals, the Nashik Municipal Smart City Development Corporation (NMSCDCL) has redesigned the beautification plan of two roundabouts in Raviwar Karanja and the Nimani bus stand. Work on the project will begin in two to three months.
The size of the chowks at these two locations will be reduced to avoid vehicular traffic congestion, Sumant More, the CEO of the smart city company, told the media. The enhancement of these iconic chowks is part of the road-improvement project. Greenery, lights, and other elements will be added to these newly designed roundabouts.
