New GIS-based masterplan for Panaji

Under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), Imagine Panaji Smart City Development (IPSCDL) is planning to prepare a new Geographic Information System (GIS) based masterplan for Panaji using high-resolution satellite imagery provided by the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Hyderabad. While the government plans to prepare GIS-based master plans for 

500 cities in India, Panaji is one of the 25 cities chosen by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) as part of the first phase.
