Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has laid the foundation stone for the upgradation of Transport Nagar in Jammu. Once completed, the upgradation project involving roads, drainage network and street lighting will reinstate Transport Nagar as a business hub. He reportedly said that smart city projects in Jammu and Srinagar are poised for a big leap. Effective planning, efficient management of resources, a fine balance between heritage, ecology and pace of development and public participation will lead towards equitable and sustainable development.
