Tenders for 6,721 projects worth Rs.1,885.07 bn floated

Recently, 6,721 projects worth  Rs.1,885.07 bn have been tendered under the Smart City Mission. The work order for 6,124 projects worth  Rs.1629.08 bn has been allocated. Meanwhile, 3,421 projects worth  Rs.587.35 bn are finished. In January, 2022, the Indian Government released  Rs.284.13 bn for 100 Smart Cities, out of which 83 per cent ( Rs.236.8 bn) has been used. State Government and Urban Local Body (ULB) are contributing an equal amount for these projects.
