Bengaluru suburban rail project gets Rs.5 bn

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has reportedly announced an initial allocation of Rs.5 bn for a suburban rail project to ease traffic flow in Bengaluru. This follows Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's recent announcement of full support for the project, estimated to cost Rs.186 bn.
