The operation, management and development of Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram and Mangaluru airports are reportedly to be done through the Public Private Partnership Appraisal Committee (PPPAC). With an aim to enhance the revenue of the AAI and to increase the economic development in these areas in terms of creation of jobs and related infrastructure, the Modi-led Cabinet has approved the proposal to manage these six airports.
